This past year, Murray’s Ride to Thrive (Murray Cornelius is the Executive Director for Mission Global) featured two 100km bicycle rides in Ottawa and Waterloo, bringing together dedicated participants, volunteers and donors, all committed to supporting migrant workers in the Middle East.
In partnership with Galcom International, a leading audio Bible distributor, over 3,000 audio Bibles are now in the hands of new believers—both men and women—working in four cities across three Middle Eastern countries.
For millions of migrant workers, life in the Middle East is marked by exploitation, physical abuse, and harsh conditions. Many were sold the promise of a better life, only to find themselves trapped in a foreign country, facing unimaginable hardships. Yet, into this darkness, through your support of Murray’s Ride to Thrive, we’ve managed to bring God’s Word through audio Bibles to these migrant workers. These small, discreet devices can fit in the palm of a hand and can be shared among multiple listeners at once.
We’re incredibly grateful for our international partners, alongside brave Bengali believers, who have risked everything to distribute these audio Bibles inside migrant camps, sharing God’s transformative message with those in desperate need of hope.
One such migrant worker, Saiful, a boatman in Dubai, had his life forever changed through the gift of an audio Bible. Like countless others, Saiful was promised a better life in the Middle East, only to endure years of hardship, far from his family, and trapped in hopelessness. But everything changed when he received an audio Bible. As he listened to the stories of Jesus, his heart was transformed. For the first time, Saiful felt hope. He now walks in the light of Christ, forever changed by the power of God’s Word.
Together, we’re restoring hope. One audio Bible at a time.
