PAOC Global Workers, Amar & Nadi Ram, have a passion to mentor and train youth for future employment, within underprivileged communities in Guyana, while also providing them a safe space to learn about Jesus’ love.
Word is spreading that Amar and Nadi’s automotive training program is different. The family-like environment is attracting more families who need help with life's challenges. Twenty-four students attended Amar’s Auto Mechanic training program and graduated with a Board of Industry Training certificate. Soon after graduation, Amar was able to get nine of the students jobs at the local Toyota dealership. From this training program, many of the female family members were welcomed into Nadi's women's ministry and are being cared for. Her ministry is expanding and bringing hope to many abused women. God is using this automotive training facility to transform the lives of many families in a very short period of time.
Over the past few months, Amar had offered his time to provide technical coaching to the service staff at the Toyota dealership and has established a well-respected relationship with the owner. Because of that relationship, Amar was granted permission to host his automotive training course (Maintenance and General Services) at the Toyota dealership workshop. He has 12 male students who came from mixed backgrounds, including the orphanage, broken homes, etc. In this course, they are being mentored and eventually will receive pre-Christian discipling.
PRAY these 24 graduates and their families gain not only financial stability through reliable employment, but life purpose through a living relationship with Jesus.
PRAY the abused women working with Nadi learn to see themselves as treasured daughters of God, redeemed and called by name.
PRAY the Lord provides strength, capacity, wisdom and spiritual empowerment to Amar and Nadi as they walk with the vulnerable daily.
