The significance of the Egyptian Assemblies of God engaging in sending believers on mission outside of the borders of Egypt is historic. The shift to take the gospel to the surrounding nations is a monumental response of obedience to the Spirit-initiated calling.
While we are thankful that a medical team has been launched, established a functioning lab and begun to engage in meaningful relationships, we recognize that there are a great many challenges. We deem recent setbacks as spiritual attacks. This has taken the form of the malfunction of key equipment, a cancerous tumour in one of the team and a fire in the electricity meter, all within three consecutive months. We are interceding for God to be at work in this team and through this team. We know that He is victorious, and His kingdom will advance.
PRAY spiritual protection over the leadership of the Egyptian Assemblies of God, and this medical team in a neighbouring country.
PRAY against further attacks that would set back the work of establishing not only a viable business but developing meaningful relationships.
PRAY the Light of Jesus will emanate from the team as they do the hard work of establishing a gospel lighthouse in the neighbouring country.
