Acting Justly, Loving Mercy on World Refugee Sunday

Mission Global, Mission Canada, ERDO, our team of Global Workers around the world, and our local churches across the country are engaged in amazing ways with asylum seekers and refugees.

June 20 is the UN’s World Refugee Day. Churches globally will remember refugees specifically on the Sundays, June 15 and 22. Those in immigration detention is our 2025 focus. As Jesus said, “I was in prison…” (Matthew 25:36). See more about this here

Global Workers, Matthew & Amber Price in Thailand, are part of a multi-faceted network that seeks to bring care, compassion and a future to those in detention in their city, and beyond. Matthew & Amber embody the words in Hebrews 13:3 that say:

“Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering”

PRAY for justice and compassion for those seeking asylum in often unhospitable countries.

PRAY for strength and courage for those fleeing their homeland as a result of persecution for becoming followers of Jesus.

PRAY God will continue to provide hope through those who open their hearts and homes to welcome the refugee and those in detention due to immigration issues.
