PAOC Global Workers, Darren & Patty, have been working for five years to finish the expansion on the Refuge Boy's Home. It is a big project that they started with nothing but a word from God and a gold painted shovel. In the fall, this ministry work was intended to be promoted across Canada, but the unexpected postal strike had delayed the sending and receiving of mail.
Then God made a way, where there was no (apparent) way. Someone felt prompted by God to send them a large sum for the Refuge! Added to other donations and suddenly they are looking to have the expansion completed in the next couple of months with only some support still needed.
Project Refuge, a huge two-story expansion, that doubles the home's capacity will soon be completed. HE has made a way!
PRAISE God for fulfilling this vision to provide for vulnerable children through the faithfulness of his people.
PRAY for the safety of local construction workers and the teams who will help.
PRAY that many boys and girls will have their lives transformed through the ongoing, and growing, ministry of the Refuge.
